You MUST make a reservation on the museum’s website:
Here are the steps you will need to make a reservation.
- Select “Discount Programs”
- Select “Purchase Discount Program Tickets”
- Select “Half Price Library Timed Tickets”
- Select the correct date (must match coupon)
- Select the time slot
- Select the number of tickets (maximum of 4)
- Select “Add to the Cart”
- Select “Check out” and complete your payment
- You will be sent tickets via email
On the day of your visit, you must bring both your coupon from the library and your tickets from the museum. If you don’t have both with you – you will not be able to get into the museum

Passes Availability
Once reserved, all passes must be picked up at the Manchester City Library 5 days or less before the date of your reservation.
To reserve a pass, you will be asked to log in to your library account. Your "username" is the 14 digit number on the back of your library card. Please do not use your custom library username to reserve a pass as it causes problems with our system.
