The Mount Washington Observatory (MWO) is now offering a library pass for their weather station when
Mount Washington State Park is open mid-May through mid-October.
For Mount Washington Observatory:
Free weather station tour for family with two adults and up to three kids
(age 17 and under).
When Mount Washington State Park is open (Approximate Mid-May to Mid-October).
Once reserved, you will be email special code to reserve the needed spaces on that specific date.
Or you can also bring the Library Pass to Extreme Mount Washington Museum on the summit (lower level), though space could be limited and advance reserve reservations are recommended.
For Mount Washington Cog Railway:
Buy 1 Adult Ticket and get 1 Adult Ticket free.
Month of June & July 2025 Only. Not valid on July 4th, 2025
FYI - July trains do fill up very quickly - If you know the day you are going, it is best that you reserve your tickets sooner or later. Our museum passes can be reserved up to 60 days ahead.

Tickets can be reserved in advance at: https://www.thecog.com/tickets
The voucher code (please call the Manchester City Library @ 603-624-6550 ext. 7628 to get the Cog Railway code) can be applied (once per order) to tickets purchased on the 9 AM, 2PM, and 3 PM Platform A train during weekdays in June. If you try to use a voucher on a platform/day/time that is not valid, you will get the message, “Coupon Code Invalid”.
Book on one of these valid days and when you get to your cart, make sure you click “Add Voucher” and enter the Cog Railway code you received from the library, then finish checkout as you normally would. Passes Availability
Once reserved, all passes must be picked up at the Manchester City Library 5 days or less before the date of your reservation.
To reserve a pass, you will be asked to log in to your library account. Your "username" is the 14 digit number on the back of your library card. Please do not use your custom library username to reserve a pass as it causes problems with our system.
